Writing progress

 I'm behind by about 900 words right now, but I managed to crank out about 2300 today, so I'm not overly concerned.

I decided not to worry about writing a coherent novel - I'm rubbish at long plot arcs, and while I might get better at that, I'm not going to get better at it this month. Instead, I've got two short pieces, one of which is me remaking a really awful Christmas story into something with vampires. delphi probably knows which one I'm talking about. I may actually just go with that and see how many times I can rework that same seed into a new story. It may get ridiculous. I hope it gets ridiculous.

Write or Die is my new best friend.

I wish my OS was current enough for me to install the desktop app, but the internets are strong tonight, so it's ok.

Word count: 9483, up from about 5800 yesterday. Tempted to do one more session, because I'm into the story and because I'd love get to 10K tonight, but I think I won't. I've been home sick since Wednesday afternoon and any sleep I get is precious. So, water and bed.
